Knowledge Management

CInI has extensive geographical span of area with 130 districts in nine states.

We work for empowering tribal livelihoods through our strong partner base and are heading to make our presence in the field as a “Resource Organization”. As a resource organization it is important to furnish all type of information related to tribal livelihoods in the Central Indian belt to our target audience who can be implementers, concerned government organizations, research institutes etc.

Hence it is essential for us to prepare inventory to identify, collect and collate good practices and document them. Thus Knowledge Management forms the core and integral part of each and every activity of CInI.

CInI envisages acting as a single source of information for livelihood activities in the Central Indian Region.

The main objectives are:

To gather and document the processes and learning generated by the ongoing field projects and disseminates it to partners and policy makers.

To develop state specific strategy and a detailed action plan.

To compile comprehensive database, research studies of related areas and portfolio of water-related technologies and practices which have been tested/implemented in the region, their design, impact, hindrances and replicability in other regions.

To maintain a database of government and non-government programs being implemented in the region, their focus, scale, impact and replicability and the list of experts /resource persons in the field of water and agriculture.
