GIS based database for CInI districts: CInI had signed a MoU with Foundation for Ecological Security (FES) based in Anand to work collaboratively towards developing the GIS based database for CInI districts. The map of 107 CInI districts has been already developed. To improve the current database a new  collaboration of CInI and FES has been initiated and is broadly categorized into four areas;

Preparation of database for all CInI districts at district level and for focused States at block/tehsil level (for priority districts)
Preparation of atlas for all CInI districts as a whole and for priority States/districts,
Preparation of a detailed database for TSCP blocks at cadastral level and
GIS support to the projects being implemented in Madhya Pradesh (Jhabua, Dhar and Mandla districts).
