Collectives for Integrated
Livelihood Initiatives (CInI) is an organization registered under the Societies
Registration Act, 1860, that work comprehensively towards livelihood enhancement
of tribal communities by sustainable natural resource management predominantly the
land, water and forest triad. CInI works closely with different stakeholders for Empowering Tribal Livelihoods through Partnership. CInI has been promoted by
Sir Ratan Tata Trust , one of the oldest philanthropic institutions of India.
It also plays the role of nodal agency
for promoting and strengthening the Central India Initiative of the Trust.
CInI works to address
issues of food security and livelihood security of tribal communities in the central
Indian region. It does this through incubation of new ideas, research and resource
support. CInI is an associate organization of the Sir
Ratan Tata Trust.
